Absolute Speed & Marine 74th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta presented by Nick Rose Insurance Update
Update 11/19/20: SCSC is pleased to formally announce 74th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta is on!!
Update 11/18/20: I just spoke with La Paz County Park Director and we are preliminarily a go for the Absolute Speed & Marine 74th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta presented by Nick Rose Insurance. I have a final conference call tomorrow (Thursday, November 19, at 9:00 am) to iron out final details.
Most likely the following:
- All teams will get temperature check when they come into the park or pit area.
- Masks will be recommended (NOT required) and social distancing will be recommended (NOT required).
The following goes without saying:
- If you are sick, feel sick, have been sick within the last month, have been in contact with someone who has been sick or has tested positive or know someone who tested positive for COVID in the last month DO NOT COME TO THE RACE!!
We've had ZERO cases of COVID reported at both Bakersfield and the Enduro and we'd like to keep this streak intact!!
Questions, please contact Ross - 310-318-4012 or rpmracingent@yahoo.com
Race Teams:
Ross has spoken with the La Paz County Park Director who is waiting on a call back from the Arizona Governor's office. He expects a call back with a final answer no later than Wednesday (11/18).
Please note that as of today, the race is on. Unless we hear differently, we (SCSC) are still actively in final planning stages to make the 74th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta happen at La Paz County Park on November 27 & 28.
